At The Art Institute of Pittsburgh – Online Division, all military students including active duty, Reserves, National Guard, Veterans and spouses of active duty will have a team of dedicated admissions, financial aid and advising representatives all trained in and focused on meeting your unique needs as a military student. Financial aid is available for those who qualify.

To recognize your service and commitment, The Art Institute of Pittsburgh has structured the tuition schedule for military affiliated personnel and spouses of active duty serviemembers to eliminate or minimize their out-of-pocket costs.

Tuition & Fees

Active Duty, Active and Drilling members of the Reserve and National Guard and Spouses of Active Duty Military Personnel:

The Art Institute of Pittsburgh offers a special military tuition discount of 10% to eligible Active Duty, Active and Drilling members of the Reserve and National Guard and spouses of Active Duty military personnel. Based on current charges, the 10% tuition discount makes the cost per credit hour $403.20.

Veterans

Post 9/11 GI Bill Participants: The Art Institute of Pittsburgh participates in the Post 9/11 GI Bill and the Yellow Ribbon program. This means that veterans entitled to full benefit under the Post 9/11 GI Bill could have their entire cost of tuition and books covered for their effective period of coverage, based on current charges and current benefits.

Montgomery GI Bill: Veterans using the educational benefits provided for under the Montgomery GI Bill will find that with a combination of these benefits and The Art Institute of Pittsburgh's military tuition scholarship, which offers a 10% discount, a significant portion of their educational expenses will be covered or reimbursed.

Fees

The Online Lab Fee, enrollment fee and the application fee are waived for Active Duty and Active and Drilling members of the Reserve and National Guard. The application fee is waived for all veterans who qualify for government military education financial aid and spouses of Active Duty military personnel.
